Amador Fernández-Savater (Madrid, 1974) works between critical thought and political action, always looking for the meeting of these two practices.

As editor of Acuarela Libros he has directed the magazine Archipiélago, as well as actively joining a number of different movements and collectives in Madrid (Estudiantil, Antiglobalización, Copyleft, "No a la guerra", V de Vivienda). He is the author of Filosofía y Acción (Editorial Límite, 1999), co-author of Red Ciudadana tras el 11-M; cuando el sufrimiento no impide pensar ni actuar (Acuarela Libros, 2008) and coordinator of Con y contra el cine; en torno a Mayo del 68 (UNIA, 2008).

Together with some friends, he now curates for Radio Circulo the radio program Una línea sobre el mar, which is dedicated to garage philosophy.
