Paolo Mossetti was born in Naples, Southern Italy, in 1983. At eighteen, he moved to Milan, where he took an MSc in Economics and Management of Arts, Culture Media and Entertainment at the Bocconi University. During that time he also joined underground literary projects and co-founded in Naples the guerrilla communication team "Il Richiamo" ("The Call"), which was engaged in militant street-art. In the last five years he has coordinated research projects in Mexico (on the Santa Muerte devotion), Southern Italy (on the anthropology of mafia), Mediterranean area (on pop-folk music) and studied extensively radical minorities and Temporary Autonomous Zones. He currently lives between London, Italy and New York, writing on heterodox economics, activism and radical travelling. |
